I have a 98 cavalier. I found that the passenger side cv joint had appeared to be dry for many months. I am defintely replacing that one but is it a good idea to replace both axles to ensure no near future problems. With the ease of this process on these vehicles to do so i would think to replace both axles. What do you think.?

absolutely not. these axles are near bullet proof. i would rather have a original gm factory axle than a rebuilt one. i dont think you will have any problems if you leave it alone..
