my oil light is coming on and there is enough good oil in car... it gets changed regularly... thinking possible oil pump? how much is a oil pump replacement at most shop?

Do you hear any type of engine knocking from the engine lower end?

My suggestion is to check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge and confirm it if its the oil pump or just the oil pressure sending unit acting up.
