Oil Pressure Light On

My light comes on once in awhile waiting @ traffic lights. My mechanic can't find anything wrong.

Hello,

You might have a faulty pressure sensor. Many times the pressure sensor can go bad due to loosing internal calibration. It happens because of all the heat and vibration from the engine.
When the sensor goes bad it can trigger the low oil pressure light.

Check the oil pressure to make sure it is the sensor and not the oil pump.
You can test the oil pressure by using pressure tester.
This vehicle should have 56 PSI of oil pressure at 3,000 RPMs.
