1997 Chevy Cavalier oil light remain on when temp undicator

When I run my car, and temperature raise to the middle of the indicator, oil light is on, then when I acelerate de car then light goes off, only just when the temperature is in that rangr, in low temp, is not happened.

Most likely a short in the IP, but to be safe, have oil pressure tested with a mechanical gauge.

Your welcome, while it may be something simple, don't take any chances with oil pressure, if actually low, it will destroy an engine.
