Engine Mechanical problem
1997 Chevy Cavalier 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I recently installed a brand new O2 heater circuit(bank 1 Sensor ) I had my cheek engine light turned off. Drove it 100 miles. The light came on. I ran another diagnostic, it was the same cods that I already repaired. I was wondering what could be causing the O2 sensor to go bad? Assuming it was not a faulty part.
