1997 Chevy Cavalier Loud ratteling noise coming from the en

I have been hearing a very loud ratteling noise whenever my car is on. Sometimes it goes away, but lately it is has been happening all the time.
Any help is good!

sounds like one of the pulleys are bad, but there are several. and I cannot tell from here but, it is probably the water pump pulley, or belt tensioner pulley

it all depends on exactly which one it is, it will need to be inspected first. and that shouldnt cost you a penny if you bring it to a regular repair shop. instead of a dealer. still shouldnt be too expensive, under three hundred depending.
