I have a 1997 2 door cavalier 2.2 engine 198k miles on it. Just bought it recently. I am having problems with it running when i start it, it will run for like 5 seconds then shut off i was told it was the fuel pump but we took it apart and tested the fuel pump and it pumps out the gas fast when you turn the key to on and the feul filter was changed. So i put it back together and tried starting it and it does the same thing. I was told it could be the fuel injector or the fuel strainer that sits in the fuel pump but im not for certain. Do you think you would know what the problems is?
