1996 Chevy Cavalier wheel locking up

when appy the brakes and comeing to a slow stop the back wheel will lock up and release. it has drum brakes on it ive replace the wheel cilinder and ive put new drum on it also. only the the left back wheel will lock up

does it do it all the time or only the first few times you step on the brakes?

It does it all the time some told me the shoes might be on back words i thought there was only one way to put them on, but iwasnt the one who put them on i bought the car aready doing it

That's why I asked if it does it all the time.

I bet someone put the shoes on incorrectly.

There are 2 shoes that have a short friction material and 2 shoes that have long material.

They look almost identical. so it's not a "stupid" mistake. Just something done by someone that doesn't know any better. it's easy to do.

the little one goes on the front and the big one goes on the back.
