1996 Chevy Cavalier whats wrong

earlier today when I left work as I backed out of my parking space I heard some sqeaking that sounded like my brakes which need to be replaced anyway, but I also heard some rattleing that sounded like somthing was loose under my car, I think its the cvc joints but I'm not sure would that make a weird rattleing sound or is it something more serious the noise is around my front axle and I drive long distances (like 300 miles a week) often so I just want to know what it is.

Actually, a CV joint won't rattle. I would start by checking heat shields on the exhaust system. Chances are one is loose. Take a rubber mallot and tap on the system to see if it makes noise.
