1996 Chevy Cavalier turn signal switch

1996 Chevy Cavalier 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I need to know how to remove and replace the multi switch for the blinker and brakes with cruise control for a 1996 chevy cavalier. I have everything off but the bottom cowling. I removed the tilt lever but the bottom cowling will not come off so I can access the bottom screw of the multi switch. How can I finish this.
