1996 Chevy Cavalier smells like gas

the car has been smelling like gas lately, ive replaced the gas cap, and it still seems to be using a lot of gas still. i havent noticed any leaks does anyone have any ideas?

Possible leak in EVAP system, have it checked by garage or dealer.
