I have a problem starting my car, when I turn the key it sounds like its about to start, but than suddenly fails. I am trying to fix it, I took the ignition out and everything but I am not sure about how to go about fixing it. Do you have any tips for me?

Welcome to the forum, are you saying the starter cranks good or doesn't crank? I'd make sure the battery has a full charge and the connections are good. If that checks out, I'd check the purple wire at the starter solenoid, should be hot with the key in the start position. If it isn't hot, I'd backtrack circuit to neutral switch then to ignition switch.

I think it is in the igniton switch, all the wires are good and the battery is fully charged. The Car will start for less than a second, than it will shut right off. I had this problem about 6 years ago, but I forgot how I fixed it. I would go buy a new ignition but its about $250.

OK, now it sounds like the theft system. Passlock is injector disable, the vehicle may start and run for a couple seconds and then die. Does the theft/security lite come on or flash?
