Hi my cavalier runs great however 2 thirds thru the day it really struggles and the transmission slips.I was going to replace transmission filter & fliud.Will this help can you please suggest something else.Thanks

I was going to replace transmission filter & fliud might help and also check the exhaust system for restriction-

Be advised that a problem with an engine performance will affect the operation of the transmission.
