1996 Chevy Cavalier clutch does not work

I have to pump clutch to get in gear. If you let out a half inch and it engages. hard to get in gear. Put in new clutch. I think slave cylinder is bad but howw hard is this to do . What are the steps to remove and how hard will this be. What do i have to remove to get to the slave cylinder. thanks hope you can help me i am walking to work it sucks.

Hi there, This is an internal clutch actuator and the transmission must be removed to access it (see pic) just make sure that the master cylinder is OK first.
