ABS COMES ON A LOT BUT NOT ALL THE TIME. I CAME TO A STOP THE OTHER DAY AND WHEN I APPLIED THE BRAKES I HEARD A LOUD SQUEAL AND THEN IT FELT AS IF THE REAR BRAKES WERE TRYING TO LOCK UP. THE CAR KIND OF SKIDDED AND WHEN IT DID STOP IT FELT LIKE THE REAR END STOPPED AFTER THE REST OF CAR DID. VERY VERY SCARY. BRAKES ARE FINE FRONT AND REAR. ANY THOUGHTS?

First thing to do is to get the ABS codes from computer. ABS codes are "C" (chassis codes), and most autoparts stores cannot read ABS codes.

You will have to go to dealer/trusted garage to get codes read.
