1995 Chevy Cavalier oil pressure

i have a 95 cavalier z24 with the 2.3L quad 4 dohc. my car has zero oil pressure we just put a new oil pump in and even checked the pressure with a mechanical gauge and there is still no pressure. there is also very little oil gettin to the top of the motor.

did you replace the drive shaft fro the pump?
