We ended up changing the air compressor on the car and it says to take the oil that is in the old one and dump it out, measure it and put that amount in the new one. Problem is we took it out and returned it for the core and have no Idea how much oil was in it before we got the new one and had the manufactures directions which are not specific on how much exactly goes in it. Now the problem is we have to guess and that just won't due because I cant afford to get another one if this one burns up because of lack of oil. ( or a problem with to much) because it is sunday and there are no shops open I can't take it to the mechanic or call. But I am taking it to have the freon put in it. Is it ok to drive it with the amount of oil that comes in from the mfr. My friend put it to about 6 oz's. again a guess. thanks
