1994 Chevy Cavalier 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 113xxx miles

That little bell thing that goes off when you leave your keys in the ignition and open the driver's door......Well, mine goes off whether the key is in the ignition or not. What could be wrong and how do I fix it?
