I just changed my plugs and wires and now my cavalier rs, 3.1 v6, runs like a tank. I changed the plugs and wires one at a time so as not to mix them up and made sure everything was securely connected.I gapped the plugs to specs and now i'm just confused, the car ran fine before it just had a little missing.

Proper plugs? You torque them properly?

Check the firing order and make sure that no two cylinders that have the same firing order have wires running parallel to eachother. Also make sure no wires are touching the engine. Make sure they atleast a quarter inch away from the metal of teh engine.

Check the firing order again and plug gaps.

Hows it running? You acidently disconnect a wire?
