hello.. i was wondering if the reason my lighter isnt heating up was due to a fuse needing changed? i would like to use an adapter to power an mp3 player and the cigerette lighter hasnt worked, so i cant use an adapter.

yes. most likely the fuse is blown. if not then the lighter housing may need to be replaced. do the interior lights work?

the interior lights work. the cigarette lighter and also the windshield washer fluid doesnt come out either. i have it filled to the line and im hoping that as well is a fuse? its not overly important to have fixed, but its one of those nuisances.

well the two are not releated. you will need to check power and ground at both the windshield pump motor and the cigarette lighter and probably replace the 2 of them
