Ignition switch will not allow me to use the radio?

A worn ignition switch will not allow me to use the radio or the windshield wipers while driving. My question is how difficult is it to change the switch unit and do I need any special tools? I have a replacement switch available. Thank you

Here are the instructions on how to replace the ignition switch which is not that hard to do with everyday tools and a steering wheel puller which you can rent for cheap or free at the auto parts store. Check out the images (below). Let us know if you need anything else.
