I need to know how to take the cable out and get the speedometer to work without the cable. The trans is out of a 92

Your taking a speedometer that runs off of a speedometer cable and you want to put in an electronic one?

If thats the case you will have to buy a new cluster that will run off of the VSS.

Yes my car is a and the trans is a 92 but yes something to get it to work. So would I need to get the computer or how would I do that?

If your transmission your putting on has a VSS you can probably talk to a autopart store and see if they can get you a aftermarket one that can be hooked up to the VSS. VSS = vehicle speed sensor.
