will unplugging tcc selenoid cause me to lose a lot of gas mileage. if so how do you repair it

TCC lockup reduces RPM about 300-500, so it will reduce mileage.
If 3 speed, remove side cover on trans to replace.
If 3 speed, remove side cover on trans to replace.
