Engine Performance problem
1988 Chevy Cavalier 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 1988 Cavalier Z24. The engine turns over good but it won't start. I have checked all fuses for the fuel pump including the fuel relay. This where the problem occurs. There is fire going to the relay but is not going to the fuel pump. I have even tried a wire straight from the battery to the live wire going to the pump. There is nothing. What does this mean. Please help I have run out of solutions.

Hi Tina
Well if you ran power directly to the power side of pump and it does not run, then either you have no ground at the pump most likely the ecm. or the pump is burned up . hope this helps please repost if you have more questions Billymac
