1986 Chevy Cavalier 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive 61,000 miles

works great when engine is cold when it gets warm you go to stop it acts like the tranny is locked up and stalls the engine put it in netural restart and try to pull out again and again and again do you think the converter is bad ?
