my 84 cavalier died while i was driving it checked all fuses fuel pump runs not getting fire changed coil still no fire

Did you check the coil primary circuits, the smaller wires? Pink is B+ should be hot when you turn on the key.
With the engine cranking, the brown wire should have a pulse. If your missing the pulse, you might suspect either the ignition module or pickup coil. I'm not sure of the litre size of the engine? The info I looked at was a 2.0.
