1996 Chevy Caprice Battery Volts goes down

When I put my car in reverse, turn on my a/c, or even sometimes press my brakes my battery volt hand goes down. Sometimes when put my car in reverse while having the steering wheel already turned, my car will just cut off but will start right back up. Whats the reason for this?

Coincidentaly, I am having the exact problem with my 1994 Caprice. Googled the problem, and tazzs question came up posted today!
