1995 Chevy Caprice PUZZLED

When I got this car 2 weeks ago it ran perfectly. I put some STP fuel system clener in it and the check engine light came on. When the vehicle is cold it runs perfectly, but when it gets up to temperature it stalls. When I press the gas it mists and shutters and I have to give it more gas and it'll finally catch. It has that 4.3liter V8 in it. Is this a fuel or air problem? It doesn't happen all the tim, just sometimes. any suggestions? Thanks

it could be fuel or ignitions.

best thing you can do is take it to auto zone and have them scan the vehicle for trouble codes and post them back here and we can figure it out.
