1995 Chevy Caprice Heat starts out warm

I warm up the Caprice every morning for at least 20 mins & switch the heater on it starts out blowing out heat but after only about 10 secs that heat turns into AC i'm taking it to a mechanic this week but just wanted to get any type of idea on what could possibly be the problem
