1995 Chevy Caprice Automatic 118000 miles

every once in a while the check gauge come on and dont really know what it could mean.it comes on then off.

if the light comes on and stayso n for 10 seconds it will set a code. have the engine scanned and see if there is one.it may be just a minor thing.....
