I've got a '94 Caprice, an old police car with the LT1 engine.

It suddenly quit starting. It was running fine one day and then the next I could not get it to crank.

When I turn the key I can get power to the car, windows, radio and dash lights work ; however when I turn the key to the 'start' position..nothing happens. I get no noises, no attempt to crank at all.

What is the most likely problem and is there an simple way to check it out?

Thanks in advance.
