1992 Chevy Caprice car hard to stop

After I press the brake pedal 1 or 2 times
it won't go down very far and is very hard to stop.
I hear a air noise down by the pedal when pressing.
Its almost like when tour car isn't running and you pump the brakes it gets harder and harder.PLEASE HELP

Hi there,

this sound like your vacuum servo booster has failed, this will give you very hard pedal and will hiss as the vacuum escapes, get this checked ASAP.
