1992 Chevy Caprice V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 170.00 miles

I just replaced my fuel pump yesterday and it ran fine. This morning on my way to work it acked the same way and died, I poured gas into the carborator and it starts then dies, I think and hope I bought a bad fuel pump but what do u think it all could be?

You need to confirm and measure the power supply and ground coming into the pump first. If no problems found there, then you probably do have a bad pump.

How do I check the positive and ground and what if the fuel pump is good then I check the ingnition module or something

This is looking like this testing is going o be beyond your abilities. You will need to enlist some help that is familiar with electrical testing.

My distibututor is good and everything inside it is too. When I put fuel in the carbrator it will start then dies a few secounds later. I dont think im getting enouph fuel what do u think it could be?Thanks alot
