is it possible to change transmission setting by hooking something to the car comp.? can something like this have effects like smooth or jerky gear change? what exactly can i use to tune the car comp?

Yes, it is possible to tune the transmission with a computer scan tool. The type tool you need is a Gm Tech 1 or -equvalent- scan tool with the proper hardware for the purpose you intend to use it for. The problem is this scan tool with the hardware you need is around $9000.00 plus tax, and you have to go to school to learn how to use it.
