1986 Chevy Caprice Trunk

1986 Chevy Caprice V8 Front Wheel Drive Automatic 177.00 miles

I was wondering if there is a way to open the trunk on the 86 caprice with a dead battery. The trunk popping mechanism only works with the battery. I don't have a key for it either.

I think the first thing i would try is putting a new Battery in ,or try going thru the rear seat on some cars rear seat can be removed for access to the trunk
