My problem is I replaces the carb with a Holly. I drove it 275 miles with no problems. Now, The carb is getting to much gas and flooding it. I tried increasing the idle so it would not die on me but that did not seem to work. It has those quadrajunk jets in it. How to I fix it?

if you had a backfire, you could have blown out the power valve and dumping fuel like a toilet being flushed.

otherwise you might need to adjust the float height
