1978 Chevy Caprice high/rough idle

i have a 1978 caprice classic and ever time i put my car in park it begins to idle really high but when i put it in D,N,R, first and second gear the ilde returns to noraml.

your carburetor needs to be adjusted, choke coil, choke pull off diaphrqm may be ruptured or binding throttle linkage. try spraying the carb linkage with carb cleaner to get rid of the build up. check back with us.
