1978 Chevy Caprice arced alternator

I just replaced my alternator on my 1978 Chevy Caprice. While putting it on I saw it arc and now the car doesn't start, not even a click. So I think that I've blown a fuse somewhere, but have no idea where to start. Please help!

I'm not sure what arched, but check the fuses under the hood of the car in the power distribution center.
