I have a 1998 camaro, V-6, check engine light came on, engine began running very rough. Took to repair
shop, $110 later, I will need to replace plugs and wires, essentially a tune up, for a fee of $850.00. This seems way out of line. Is it that difficult to change plugs and wires?

I wouldn't walk outta ther I'd RUN. Even if it was lik an 82 where you hadda jack the motor up some, it would be wwaaaayyy cheaper to buy a floor jack!
If ya live near Boston I'll do it for 750.00!
