I recently bought a 1989 2.8l v6 camaro. When I got it its wasnt running. I got it running but now ive found some type of leak its either oil or trans fluid I put trans x and trans fluid in it but it doesnt get full im not sure if its just filling up the torque converter or if ive got a bad leak if it keeps up ill have no choice but to put it in the shop. The motor is good it just needs alot of work and also the rpm gauge spins and just sits at 7000 when motor is idling and the gas gauge doesnt work please help

The fact that you have turned to mechanic in a bottle says you are in over your head. I advise you to SELL the Camaro while it is running, and you can make a quick profit.
Take that money and look for a better candidate to start with, something needing a little less effort for a first project so you can learn as you go, instead of having a garage queen eating at your wallet every time you turn around.
At this point, I would say you are going to spend a lot of money in an attempt to this car back to any semblance of reliability. You are better off selling it to someone who wants to swap the engine/trans out for something else. They can drive it home, can't they? That's good for $500 over what you paid for the car, if it didn't run when you got it.
