egine dies when put into drive

i have a 1970 el camino with a 350 , new intake,carb,cam and drive gears, new coil cap wires and plugs. when it idles it is ok but when i put into drive it turns off.........any suggestions[img:c030ce8e0a]http://www.2carpros.com/forum/automotive_pictures/93139_sez_2.jpg[/img:c030ce8e0a]

All show no go eh? Sounds like maybe the distributor? or large vacuum leak.

new distibutor and no vacuum leaks anywhere???? got me stumped. any other sugesstions......
