Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
2002 Chevy Camaro 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

i hit a curb in my camaro and bent up the driverside rear end. i need to replace the piece behind the plate of the axle shaft. its kind of goldish in color and it bolts on the outside of the axle housing. i need to know what that piece is called so what is it?

and im also starting to think i might need to replace the axle housing. what is a reasonable price for the housing to be replaced if i buy the parts?

the gold piece may be your calper/parkin g brake mount. you would be better off going to a junkyard for the axle and contacting them for a price..
