Are the rear rotors the same as the front rotors on a Chevy Camaro Z28

No, theyre not the same. Theres a slight size differance. You dont want to try it. Trust me I learned that the hard way. The car wont handle.....well....at all. Its best just to stick to the stock #'s. On top of handling, it can cause numerous other problems.
