I have a minor oil leak in the main rear seal, is this common among these cars and should I be worried about it?

if its small i wouldnt worry about it ,just check ur oil level once in a while.as long as it doesnt leave a big mess in ur lot its ok.i have a v6 camaro also and has a very small leak but im not fixin it unles it become to much.those cars r very easy to get the trans out and fix the seal.
