I have a 2002 Chevrolet Camaro. I have gone through 3 radios that were replaced by Chevrolet because the radio would flash "error" and would get really hot and would run down my battery. The battery is brand new. 1 yr old. Chevrolet said I would have to pay 800 bucks for a new radio but I dont want to because it will just have to be replaced again! This is CRAZY! Does anyone have an idea of what this could be?

Thanks!

Hi:
I never heard of this problem. I agree with you. It's not worth the money if you expect the same problem. I would consider an aftermarket radio. For that kind of money, you should be able to get one heck of a set up that won't burn the car.
