i have a 99 v6 camaro and my chek engn light is on too all the time.most likely ur computer is reading multiple miss fires and sometimes u wont feel those missfire but those cars do it.those cars r tipical to do multiple missfires ,nothing wrong with the car its just the way chevy posisioned the spark plugs that makes these missfires and they always will do m sometimes.u cannot fix that.just keep up ur ur tune ups and before u get ur car smogged erase the check engine light off with a scanner and get it smogged.go to autozone and borrow a good scanner they have loaners and read what it tells u.most likely it will say multiple missfires .dont worry its ok.just erase the light and smogg it .
