My car has a more annoying problem than anything else. When I am driving all of the guages go dead except for the speedometer. When I shut the car off and re-start it, the problem goes away. From time to time it comes back. I do not want to swap parts to find the problem.

The fuse tha cobntrolls the guages is number 9 and is a 10 amp fuse. With the car running by the fuse box on the sidwe you see the wires. Just move them a little to see if there is a weak or wire that is making a sparatic connection. If a little movement or bump could cause the wire to seperate enough that the guages goes off. and with the vibration of starting the car might move enough to make contact. There could be a frayed wire somewhere else but this is the best place to start. There is one wire that feeds the connection to the guages and it is orange in color.
