1999 Chevy Camaro whistles

Occasionaly after car warms up when stopping at a stop sign etc the car makes a loud whistle that comes from the rear of the car.I suspect this is coming from the fuel pump.It goes away on its own and may not re-occur for weeks. Thanks

mine does it also. mine is the fuel pump. have you tried to rev it up to see if it goes away and see if it is the exhaust
