Once i decelerated all the way down to first i noticed it was taking it a long time to shift gears. I pulled into the drveway and noticed when i put it into reverse it made a winding sound and it would not lock into that gear. So i put it back into drive and it caught and would go forward but it takes a long time to shift through first and once in second it doest shift up anymore. I think it is the vacuum line maybe, but i am not completely possitive.

Check the transmission fluid, does it smell burnt or is it thick and brown. The filter may be clogged and need changing.
