alot of things can cause the miss. don't start changing plugs/wires,etc. If your check engine light is on have it scanned to see what it is causing it. YOu can do stuff like look for vacuum leaks and a plugged fuel filter as that CAN cause it but not necessarily . Make sure all your vacuum hoses are connected.

I have a 2002 camaro, manual trans with 3.8l V6. Last spring I had the same problem, and it cost me quite a bit to fix. The first problem was a bad catalytic converter. The mesh inside had broken apart on the engine side, and it was blocking my exhaust severely. I had it replaced, but still had a problem. Seems that when the exhaust got plugged, the engine temps went up, and my ignition coils got damaged from the excessive heat. The coils tested good with a meter, but would fail once they got warmed up. My car had about 83,000 miles when this happened. If your cat is bad, you might hear some rattling coming from it when you first start the car. Before I changed the coils, I replaced the MAF, plugs, wires, filters, had the injectors cleaned, still had problem until I replaced the coils. The ignition module is right under the coils, so don't rule that out, but I wouldn't go for that first. Coils are cheap on eBay, I bought mine new for about $65. I would get the cat converter and exhaust checked out first though.
